I loved the Joshua Bible Study. I learned so much in my personal study. I couldn't wait to get more and learn more about God's ways and how He desires for me to follow Him. I gained so much insights about how to deal with things in life. It is like exercise for my soul. Every day my spirit got stronger; I got more and more encouraged and emboldened. Through this Bible study, I've learned to face my inner obstacles and fears (through the story of the spies and Rahab) and have learned what God really wanted me to do and stretch my faith. I have decided to go back on a short-term mission trip (despite my fear of the $ costs and everything) after 7 years. Rahab had to face death from the king's threat but she trusted in God. Why shouldn't we be all like her? This is what the Bible means when His Word says "The righteous shall live by faith!" I have posted on Facebook each major insight and found that it has also inspired in many friends to be strong and courageous in their daily living. I was able to encourage my homeschool friend to be strong and courageous and encouraged her to go back and homeschool her son and live in faith. She needed to hear it and I knew it could only have come from God. Praise God! I am so pumped and ready for God to use me more and do great things for Him. This personal study was ordained for me at the time I needed it. I am ready for my 5th precept study! Be strong and courageous! This study will change you!

I love this study on so many levels! Have taught it twice (and I rarely re-teach material because I love to be learning new things!). God used this study to teach me more about living a life of faith — specifically faith that has to stand in the water for a while before the waters part. Precept Joshua was also the place where I learned biblical geography without the pain that is typically involved in learning geography. :) Picked it up step by step with the children of Israel as they entered the Promised Land. Cannot recommend this study highly enough!
