I just finished this study. In the beginning I was hesitant and unsure how to pray or what I could expect when I did so my prayers were short pleas in times of distress or mild thanks when help was given. Working through this study I have learned what the Word says about how to pray and have applied each piece to my own prayers. I cannot describe the change, the POWER prayer has when used as it was intended to be used, when the example of Jesus is followed. I needed to forgive others so I could seek forgiveness for myself. Then I could approach God unhindered. The last section on intercession spoke to my servant's heart and I cannot wait to pray now. God has shown me how to prepare and approach him with a heart of worship for who He is, shown me what to pray for and has given me a burning desire to bring my needs and the needs of others to Him and find real joy in His clear answers.
