Our country's critical financial condition continues to loom over our land and our government officials are desperate to find answers to our economic nightmare.

The once economic boom has now gone bust and the blame game is on. Whose fault is it?

What's happening in this great land of ours? Did money become our idol, our security? And now we appear to be on sinking sand. The great hymn writer writes, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand…"

Our world is hurting and desperately looking for answers. We know the answers are in God's Word. "Everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and slammed against the house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock" (Matthew 7:24-25). David writes:
